Which database does Core use?+
Firestore. It grows with you without maintenance work, and it pairs cleanly with the rest of Google Cloud’s Firebase, so your AI doesn’t have to reason about a separate database layer.
Can I swap out any of the tools later?+
Yes. Core is your codebase. You can replace any tool. That said, the toolset is chosen to work well together and to be what senior teams default to; changing things without a strong reason tends to create more work, not less.
Do I need to understand the monitoring tools to use them?+
No. Core includes the integration and the configuration. During Training we show you how to read a production error and how to spot a slow part of your app. Day to day you mostly see their output, not their config.
What does “your AI can talk to your product” actually mean?+
Your app ships with a built-in connection point that AI assistants like Claude and Cursor can use. If you want your AI to look up your data, create records, or read metrics, it can do that the same way a person would, protected by your own sign-in flow.
How long does setup take?+
Typically 3–5 business days from the kickoff call to a working environment with everything installed, configured, and documented.
What happens after Core is installed?+
You build with your AI in your sandbox. When you have a version ready to go live, you request a pre-launch review. Senior engineers look at the change and give you a concrete go/no-go.
Can I add custom development later?+
