Senior engineers review each release in your sandbox and catch what automated checks and AI reviewers miss. We tell you whether it's safe to publish and what to fix first, with every issue pinned to a line in language your AI can act on.
Why a human review
Automated checks catch the obvious. A senior engineer catches what matters: the decision that creates a maintenance burden, the pattern that breaks at scale, the shortcut that becomes a rewrite. That’s what Safe deploy is built around.
Accumulated production experience
You get the judgment of a senior engineer who has maintained software in production, not just reviewed it. Someone who knows what the diff looks like three releases from now.
A human expert, not another machine
Automated tools and AI reviewers miss context. A real engineer reads your code against your whole app, catches what doesn’t belong, and gives you a clear go/no-go you can trust.
Code that’s built to last
We flag the patterns that hurt maintainability at scale and suggest the ones used in the largest engineering orgs, so your app evolves cleanly instead of accumulating debt.
How it works
Build calmly in your sandbox. When you’re ready, request the review.
Let us know you have a candidate version. Share what changed and what this release is meant to accomplish.
A senior engineer goes through your candidate release: how it fits the rest of your app, what could break under real use, performance, cost, and security.
Approved, approved with notes, or needs changes. Every finding includes context and line references so your AI can act on it.
Once it’s green, you decide when to push to production. Ship knowing a human expert signed off on it.
The report
The version is ready. No blockers, no conditions. You decide when to push it live.
You can ship, but we flagged things worth addressing soon. The notes explain what to watch and when to act.
Something must be fixed before going live. The report explains what and how. Fix everything in your sandbox; if issues remain, a new review is required.
Pricing
No subscription. No recurring fees. Request a review when you have a candidate version.
AI reviewers are great at the obvious: typos, missing pieces, surface-level bugs. They’re still not great at the bigger judgment: where this code belongs in the app, what happens under real use, whether the shape will hold in three releases, whether access controls are consistent across the rest of the app, whether changes to your data are safe under traffic. Safe deploy is senior engineers focused on exactly those things.
Yes. Safe deploy assumes you have the Rails foundation in place: a separate sandbox and live app, automatic tests, auto-checks on every change, and documentation. That’s what lets us review with judgment instead of guessing.
Each review you request costs US$990. You can build and experiment freely in your sandbox at no cost. You only pay when you’re ready to promote a version to your live app.
Typically 1–3 business days from the moment you request it. If your release is urgent, let us know and we’ll see how to accommodate it.
You get a report with each finding, its context, and how to fix it. You work the fixes with your AI in your sandbox. You get one round to address all the findings; if the version still has unresolved issues after that, a new review is required (US$990).
You decide when to ship. We hand you everything verified and green-lit. You press the publish button.
Yes, optional. If you’d rather delegate the fixes, we coordinate it as Development (from US$490 depending on scope).
Senior engineers reviewing the things AI still misses. You get a clear go/no-go with each finding pinned to a line. You decide when to ship.
US$990 per review · no monthly fees.
